WHEN DID YOU START TRIATHLON?
2015 Tejas Triathlon (I think that was the name of the race)

TELL US ABOUT YOUR TRIATHLON JOURNEY:
A buddy talked me into doing Tejas triathlon. I almost drowned in the swim. Walked around edge of lake. Got to my bike which was a 50 pound Schwin, everyone who didn’t pass me in the swim had now passed me. So now to the run which I thought I was good at. Passed maybe theee people. I came in next to last, not in my age group but overall. The next year, we were at market street for the same buddy’s birthday and had a few drinks. Ironman Texas was going on and we were inspired by the finishers and decided we would sign up and do it next year. Of course we didnt Well the same thing happens the following year but I decided to sign up and it forced me to figure out how to swim. Finished, made a lot friends and somehow have kept racing.
